Thursday October 7th
Team Up Thursday. Wear your favorite sports/team jersey! Respecting each other’s choices and values is always important during any game or sport. Remember to always have good sportsmanship.
Friday October 8th
Fun Friday! Students will be presented an assembly by Kevin Wanzer! The assembly will emphasize respect, character, and self-care. It will be structured to follow a simple acronym: ACT. The A stands for Act, which itself can be understood as an acronym for “Ask, Care, Tell.” Kevin addresses some simple ways we can connect with and look out for each other. His goal is to empower students… one laugh at a time!
World Bullying Prevention Month An initiative of STOMP Out Bullying
October 4, 2021
October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month. To signify its importance, STOMP Out Bullying created WORLD DAY OF BULLYING PREVENTION which is observed on the first Monday of each October.
Students and adults alike are encouraged to #BlueUp by wearing our blue shirt or their own to make that the day that bullying prevention is heard around the world. The color blue was chosen because in many diverse cultures blue brings peace. The color conveys importance and confidence. This campaign has been so successful that it has gone global.
